El Poble Nou de Benitatxell can be enjoyed every month of the year. In order to get to know the town from different angles, the Tourism Department is launching ‘Awakening the senses’, a series of twelve experiences, one for every month of the year.

The first of the activities in the calendar, which will take place this Saturday January 18th and next February 2nd, will be the cycling route with electric bicycles through different places in the municipality, such as Puig Llorença, Moraig cove or Cova de les Bruixes. It costs 5 euros and is addressed to people over 14 years old. For this route in particular, inscriptions must be made by sending an email to info@laterreta-aventures.es

The programme also includes a hiking route with a photography contest ‘Fall in love with the landscape’, pilates and yoga lessons, a wildernest cuisine workshop, a family relaxation workshop, the sensory workshop ‘Scents of our childhood’, a pottery workshop, the astronomical experience ‘Under the stars’; ‘Taste the muscatell’, a visit to the vineyard terraces with tasting of BioMoscatell products; a workshop of ‘llata’ baskets and another one of Christmas sweets.

Most of the activities are free of charge, except for the aforementioned cycling route, the cooking workshop and the sensory workshop ‘Scents of our childhood’. For these two activities, registration and payment can be made by emailing info@endemicanatura.com.
