The councillors of Citizens' Security and Environment ask for maximum caution in farming burnings due to the increasingly frequent risk of wild fires.
For this reason, they remind you what steps to take before starting to burn any agricultural remains:
1. Apply for permission of responsibility through the Local Police.
2. On the day of the intended burning, check the fire risk level beforehand at https://www.112cv.gva.es/es/
Red level (extreme): burning is prohibited.
Orange level (high): burning is prohibited.
Green level (low/medium): burning is permitted.
We would like to remember that, in the specific case of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, burning is not permitted on Sundays and bank holidays.
