As every summer, the Councillorship of Education of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, in collaboration with the AMPA of the CEIP Santa María Magdalena, offers the Educational Summer School to help the conciliation of family and work life and to provide the youngest ones with a space for leisure and fun.
The school will start on June 23rd and will finish on August 29th. Under the slogan ‘Areté, exploring the artistic potential of each child’, the educational projects company Reinventa’t, which has been in charge of the different local educational schools for some years now, suggests this playful educational project set up for the summer educational period.
This initiative invites children to become artists of change and community expression. Children will participate in creative workshops where they will explore different techniques such as mural painting, collage, stencil and sculpture with recycled materials. Guided by educators, each child will be able to express their ideas, dreams and visions of the world through art.
This year, as a novelty, along with the complementary canteen service, the organisation is offering a ‘good morning classroom’ from 7.50am to 9.00am for early birds. The canteen will have an additional price of 7 euros per day, while the early bird class will cost 30 euros per fortnight and 55 euros for the whole month. Both services will be available subject to the enrolment of a minimum of 15 children.
Enrolments can be done online from 9:30 am on Thursday June 12th until 2:00 pm on Wednesday June 18th, or in person at the Citizens’ Attention Office on June 12th and 13th, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Places are limited and preference will be given to students registered in the municipality. It is necessary to attach the bank receipt.
