This year, Easter is full of activities at El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. The Education and Youth Departments have prepared various recreational activities for all ages that will take place from April 17th to 28th.
The Escoleta de Pascua (Easter School) will help to reconcile family life and work for the people of El Poble Nou Benitatxell for yet another year. Children from kindergarten and primary school (from 3 to 12 years old) will do handicrafts, traditional games and activities related to Easter, such as cooking a bun or flying a kite.
It will be open on April 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th and 28th, from 9am to 2pm, at Santa María Magdalena School. Those interested can sign up in person on Friday April 11th and Monday April 14th, from 9:30am to 1:30pm, at the Citizen’s Attention Office ( Escoles Street, 2), or online from Friday 11th at 9:30am until Tuesday 15th. Young people will also have their space with the activities organised by the Youth Department. On Wednesday April 23rd the Youth Easter is scheduled, where children from 7 years old and young people can participate in games such as Laser Tag or Booble Soccer. It will take place on the municipal football field between 10am and 2pm. Admission is open and free of charge.
An excursion to Gandía has been organised for Friday April 25th where teenagers from 12 years old upwards will be able to enjoy a day of adventure with via ferrata, zip line, bridges and a hinge.
