The elderly are an important number of people in our society and in our municipality in particular. They form a large group that often requires specialized care. The municipal department offers this part of the population and their families:

Information and advice on any resource to care for the elderly such as residential centers, day centers, dependency law, etc.
Leisure and free time: information and application for social vacation and thermalism programs.
Home care service (SAD): service aimed at providing domestic, personal and educational care when the individual or family situation is of special need. This service tries to keep the person or family in their usual environment. Telecare and “Menjar a casa” program.
Financial benefits: the municipal department manages aid to cover stays in day centers, residences and respite stays; as well as information and advice on non-contributory retirement pensions.
Dependency care: service aimed at dependent people, mentally, physically or intellectually disabled; people with dependent mental illnesses and children under 3 years of age with dependency problems.
