Areas - Social services

These are the technical, professional and institutional resources that the Department of Social Services of the City Council - with the support of the Department of Social Welfare and the Provincial Council of Alicante - offers all citizens of the municipality to meet their needs and improve their quality of life. :

– Information, guidance and advice program: aimed at all citizens to inform, guide and advise them on the social rights and resources available to them to resolve specific needs.
– Home help service: aimed at providing domestic, psychological, rehabilitative, social, personal and educational, individual or family care, when there is a special need.
– Prevention and social insertion program: its objective is individual intervention or intervention in high-risk groups that need help to prevent conflicts and promote their social insertion.
– Social cooperation program: aimed at promoting and encouraging social initiative, associations and social volunteering.
– Basic needs attention program: it is based on attention to the most basic needs of citizens who cannot ensure them by themselves through the management of financial or other benefits.
– Other services: specialized programs aimed at specific groups such as the Legal Advice service and the Dependency Care Service.
