The CEIP Santa Maria Magdalena de Benitatxell raises 1,500 euros for the associations CPEE Gargasindi and Condenados al Bordillo

  • This Tuesday a solidarity race was held in which all the center's courses, the members of the CPEE Gargasindi and Condenados al Curb, the teachers and family members participated.

This Tuesday, the streets of the urban center of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell have become a racing circuit in which sport, solidarity, integration, family and music have come together.

The CEIP Santa María Magdalena, with the collaboration of the AMPA of the school and the City Council, has organized the second solidarity race ꟷlast year it already organized one for the association One in a hundred thousand ꟷ in favor of the associations CPEE Gargasindi and Condenados al Bordillo.

Condenados al Bordillo is a regional association whose main objective is to achieve the inclusion of people with functional diversity. Currently, it carries out a series of projects aimed at people with disabilities to enhance all their development possibilities in an environment that is as normalized as possible.

The CPEE Gargasindi is an educational center whose purpose is the full inclusion of its students with special needs so that they benefit from normalized environments in interaction with their peers. As a specific center, they are committed to offering a quality educational response adapted to the individual needs of the students.

With different routes depending on age, all the center's grades have participated in the test, from Infant to Sixth Grade, as well as members of the CPEE Gargasindi and Condenados al Curb, the teachers and the children's families. In total, thanks to the sale of numbers and donations, they have managed to raise 1473.25 euros.

Both the center's management and the Department of Education and Children have thanked all the participants for their contribution to this great cause, and have also recognized the collaboration of the Local Police and Civil Protection.
